Since the scheme has much-talked about nowadays and PM Modi has given an ultimatum to MPs for giving the name of village latest by 11th November, 2014. Under the scheme a village in Kishanganj district would also be benefited but the name is not publicly declared by MP Maulana Asrarul Haque Qasmi. Hence the curiosity is among the people of Kishanganj for knowing the name of that "Lucky" village.Keeping in mind the backwardness of Chhatargach and Terrhagach blocks the MP may choose a village from the areas.

On October 11, 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the much ambitious "Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana". Taking forward his announcement during his address to the nation on August 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a blueprint for the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) on Jayaprakash Narayan’s birth anniversary.
The scheme encourages Members of Parliament from both Houses to identify and develop one village from their constituency as a model village by 2016, and two more by 2019, covering over 2,500 villages of the 6 lakh villages country-wide. MPs are expected to facilitate a village development plan, motivate villagers to take up activities and use the Rs.5-crore MPLAD fund to fill gaps for funds besides mobilising “additional resources especially from Corporate Social Responsibility” in sewage and water supply schemes.
The activities and outcomes will cover broad development indicators such as health, nutrition and education through organising immunization drives, improving mid-day meal schemes, improving Aadhaar enrolment, setting up “smart schools” with IT-enabled classrooms and e-libraries, improving panchayat infrastructure under schemes such as MNREGA and Backward Regions Grants Fund.

As per the scheme MPs can choose any village except their own or their spouse’s so it is clear that the native village of Maulana Qasmi is not going to be lucky for all round development under the scheme. Keeping in mind the backwardness of Chhatargach and Terrhagach blocks the MP may choose a village from the areas. In fact, making a village ideal is a big step towards bringing prosperity for the common people of Chhatargachh and Terrhagachh who have not seen much development.
