After three days of chaos on Friday (October 10, 2014) the people of Kishanganj witnessed normal life across the district headquarter. Children attended the schools, people were seen on the streets, banks and markets opened, and shops were full of customers. On the whole, after the movements of public for the entire day this is being expected that life has returned back to track in Kishanganj.

Earlier on Thursday at 11 AM, Section 144 was lifted by administration after 48 hours in Kishanganj, which was imposed on Tuesday (October 7, 2014) following unlawful acts of miscreants and anti-social elements. However, Section 144 was again imposed in the evening from 8 PM to 6 AM (Friday). On Friday Section 144 has been imposed from 8 PM to 6 AM (Saturday) in order to avoid any unpleasant incident.
