Youth leader Aadil Hasan Azad meets DRM Katihar with Common People's concerns

Continuing his development focused approach and the role of “VOICE of common people”, the Lok Janashakti Party’s (LJP) Youth leader from Balrampur (Katihar) Assembly constituency Aadil Hasan Azad visited the Divisional Railway Magistrate (DRM) office at Katihar on Monday (February 27, 2012). Accompanied by LJP’s General Secretary Samrendra Kunal, Aadil Hasan also referred to as “Youth Icon of Seemanchal” highlighted the passenger related issues to DRM Katihar.

Aadil Hasan submitted a memorandum to DRM with following demands:

1. Stoppage of Radhikapur – New Jalpaiguri DMU Passenger at stations, namely Sanjay Gram, Sudhani, Ajhrail, Telta and Dalkolha

2. Stoppage of North East Express (12506 / 12506) at Sudhani Railway Station

3. Providing the status of Model Railway Station to Ajhrail Railway Station

4. Construction of ladies / gents toilets at Ajhrail Railway Station

5. Construction of Waiting Room at Ajhrail Railway Station.

After submitting the memorandum, Aadil Hasan said that the delegation comprised of Samrendra Kunal, Zahid Alam, Pankaj Kumar and Supen Roy had given 15 days deadline to DRM Katihar for taking immediate action. Aadil Hasan insisted on the need of common people and also threatened to go for “Rail Roko” andolan if the demands are not fulfilled within the stipulated time.
