Good news AMU Kishanganj lovers, finally the day is arrived and the countdown has begun for the ‘Agreement Day’. The AMU Vice Chancellor Prof. P.K.Abdul Azis, DM Kishanganj Dr. Saneep K P and Anjani Kumar Singh the Principal Secretary of Bihar Government confirmed the date of AMU Kishanganj Agreement to Delhi based AMU Coordination Committee (AMUCC). Be ready for December 30, 2011, when the land will be officially transferred to AMU Registrar at around 10.30 AM at DM office in Kishanganj. Other formalities related to land transfer will also be completed same day.

AMU VC Prof. Azis is reaching Kishanganj on December 29, 2011 through flight a day before the agreement. He and his team will stay in Kishanganj on December 30, 2011 as well. The Vice Chancellor and AMU team will be back for Aligarh next day. This is going to be a ‘Red Letter Day’ for people of Kishanganj, Seemanchal and rest of Bihar. This news is a great relief for die-hard AMU dreamers and keen followers of the issue, which was pending for more than two years. Bihar Government has done a stupendous job by offering 224.02 acres land free of cost for the establishment of AMU Centre in Kishanganj. The generations will remember the generous act of Bihar Government and also AMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Azis for gifting Bihar with a contemporary University Campus.
