Prof V.K. Abdul Jaleel, the Registrar of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh has written a letter to Anjani Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Department of HRD, Government of Bihar mentioning the tentative dates about visit of AMU Vice Chancellor to Kishanganj to sign the agreement with DM Kishanganj. As per the letter of AMU Registrar, the Vice Chancellor has suggested to chose any date between 29th December 2011 and January 1st 2012. Hence, we can witness historic moment almost with the onset of New Year 2012.
The letter of Prof Jaleel says, "We are very grateful for your kind efforts in facilitating the acquisition of required Land for AMU Centre at Kishanganj. The Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof P.K. Abdul Azis has duly acknowledged this historic decision of Govt. of Bihar. While a AMU team of surveyors is about to visit Kishanganj shortly, we would appreciate if the date of Land Transfer is fixed any day between 29th Dec 2011 and 1st January 2012. As the Vice Chancellor has other commitments out of these dates, I request you to please fix a date during this period. This eveny may be organized as a Public Meeting of local people, administrators and politicians to mark this historical event."
