0
The proposed AMU off-campus study centre in Kishanganj is about to move a step ahead. DM Kishanganj Mr. Feraque Ahmad said that the AMU team is supposed to visit Kishanganj on May 22, 2010. While talking over phone DM Kishanganj informed that the AMU administration has sent intimation letter to Kishanganj district administration about their visit. As per Mr. Feraque Ahmad the visit will be mainly focussed on signing of agreement between District Administration Kishanganj and representative from Aligarh Muslim University that would be most probably the Registrar.

AMU Study Campus in Kishanganj is a much debated topic in Kishanganj, Bihar and rest of the country. The noble cause has also witnessed protests from some sects on irrelevant issues. The visit of AMU team in Kishanganj would surely be very handy as it will totally end the anxiety in the minds of people living in Kishanganj and other nearby areas. Along with signing the agreement the AMU team will visit the proposed site located at the outskirts of Kishanganj near Chakla Village.

Beautiful site of AMU off-campus centre in Kishanganj

Being a resident of Kishanganj and an old boy of AMU, I am very excited about the off-campus study centre at Kishanganj. Hope the people of the district especially residents of Chakla Village will heartily welcome AMU team. As the proposed site is on the banks of Mahanada River, the pristine natural environs will also fascinate AMU team a lot. In fact, I can claim that the proposed site in Kishanganj is more picturesque in comparison to Murshidabad and Mammallapuram centre. Let us pray to Almighty for making AMU off-campus centre in Kishanganj a reality.
